Another thing to add to Disaster 2020. Pornhub, the nr. 1 website for free porn in the world
just removed most of its videos, going down from 13.5 million videos to 2.9, that’s more than 10 million videos.
The website was forced to make this decision after two payment processors, Visa and MasterCard, suspended service. The site announced on Tuesday that it will limit upload only to verified users and official content partner. Problem is, most of the porn uploaded to Pornhub is by regular accounts.
Reason for investigation by Visa and MasterCard is whether the site was hosting illegal content.
This sucks.
Pornhub is a very popular platform where I can expect to not be harassed by weird pop-ups and malware whenever I start a video. And it also was a good place to view Free VR Porn, even if the quality was really bad. At least it had the ability to properly show VR.
What does this mean for Pornhub
Well, if they don’t do something, Pornhub will lose a lot of traffic and finally be topped over from being the nr. 1 porn site. Loosing so much content it’s pretty disastrous and for sure they did not do it lightly.
What does this mean for Porn Addicts
Well, I say we all prepare a One-Eyed Salute to Pornhub and then change to a different platform for our free porn. I was going to xvideo’s more often than not. Hope they don’t do the same.
