TheCat: How long have you been working on building up xvr.chat?
Martin: Today it’s 1.5 years, the idea was born on 15th January 2018.
TheCat: Why VR Porn Cams?
Martin: Because we wanted to bring something new and we found the idea interesting. Maybe even more the Dynamic view (PTZ) in the early beginning. To have the ability to look where we want, not where it is allowed.
TheCat: Are there any unique challenges on setting up a VR Cam site?
Martin: Oh yes. Almost all are unique. We are working on the edge of possibility. To deliver the 3K stream, from browser to browser without any app. This was the biggest one. We wanted to avoid the app usage. To have the latency in such a case under 1 second was the second. To use all these small things like thumbnails with 3D VR and many others.
TheCat: I noticed that you can use adult toys within xvr.chat, for example Kiiroo, does it really make a difference? And will there be compatibility with other brands like lovense?
Martin: We are compatible with both of them. Now we use lovense as “tip reacting toys” and Kiiroo for interactive play. The Kiiroo fits us the best. It opens new dimension of interacting the models and customer especially in VR and when the latency of this interaction is almost the same. 0.5-0.7s for toys, and up to 1s latency for the stream. This makes it real interactive.
TheCat: Do you plan to bring any big name porn starts to xvr.chat?
Martin: In fact, we hope and believe, that this will be a chance for VR porn stars to enter the world of live. We know, that at least one czech studio is working with VR Porn Stars in their studio.
TheCat: a studio within xvr.chat?
Martin: Studio which is broadcasting on XVR. Yes.
TheCat: How do you see VR Porn developing in a few years? Especially VR Porn Cams?
Martin: I think, like it was done before with 2D cams. There will be set some standards and other will follow and improve during the time. I’m sure Terpon (VR camera producer) did a great job. Their vision of scalability is amazing. The VR cams can be easily spread to the models (because of cost) and they will set the standard. It’s not just VR.
To deliver to all possible viewers immediately some new kind of viewing perspective was the goal. This we believe will create a bridge between the old (2D) world and new (PTZ – VR) world. We want to make people curious for something new and to make them willing to test VR. They will be amazed and it will open new dimension for all of them. This we believe will help the whole VR community.
